How Long Does It Take For Google To Index Your Website?

Mine in less than 5 mins. PM for proofs or read my blog post entitled "My post indexed by Google in less than 5 mins" by clicking my signature below and amend the URL by removing everything after ".com" and add "blog." in front of the domain since my website doesn't have link to its blog.

 

And why is that important at all?

It isn't so much about as being indexed quickly as it is placing well in search results. And 5 minutes isn't that impressive- I've heard of people getting indexed within a minute.

In proper circumstances, it's quite possible to be indexed in any amount of time.

 

the fastest I have notice in my site is within 24 hours. I have came across alot of post in this forum that is index within 5 minutes as well.

 

I got indexed 1 of my site with in 16 minutes that's what i get

for a new site, for me, it took less than 2 days. i just post it into Digg and add my url into google SE using this link : http://www.google.com/add

 

Your blog is more than 6 months old and having good number of posts.. Its good for you that your blog is getting indexed in minutes..

 

i think they will take more than 2 weeks to index your site

 

24-48 hours for non-english sites. It's ok for me.

 

As my sitr new it takes 2 days to index it.

 

It usually takes less than 24 hours almost 18 hours all the time

 

I click http://www.google.com/add and get "The requested URL /add was not found on this server."

 

Google blogsearch indexes new posts in seconds. I'd recommend using blog/ping via Feedburner if you are worried about getting indexed quick.

 

I'd seen my websites were getting indexed in Google in less than a day,

but let me tell your for the particular blog, your post can be deindexed too in few minutes, that's wat i experience with blogs.

 

It get indexed quickly once you submit in social bookmarking site like digg and propeller.

 

Every 24 hours, to appear in google search towards the top of list, but goes down if there is little activity.

If I submit the URL to social bookmarking sites, the page get indexed in minutes.

Google bot follows all the activity in the forum instantly.

 

It can take from 1 day to weeks for your whole site to be listed in Google SE

 

For some reason Googlebot has not crawled my site in over 2 weeks. My site is updated daily, and I have already submitted to google, I also use google analytics, and google webmaster tools. I have submited my sitemap and everything, but I cant get google bot to crawl my site any faster.
Any tips on that?

 

you can actually get a new site indexed within the same day if you post the links to other places.. such as social sites and directories that are very active. Don't spam though, that will delay you big-time.

 

some people have mentioned Digg, any tips on other active sites or directories?
