You can use PHPld - php link directory - its a free and paid script both version available... most of the directory owners use this only...

    phplinkdirectory.com is the site url

    hope it helps...

there is nothing called best and worst it all depends on what u want to do and if it is good for the purpose u want. The best thing to do is try the popular once they all have free versions. you can also search the forum a lot of similar questions have been asked before and u will get very good answers.

    regards

Phpld is the main one that people use but their are also some good alternatives.

myself i would stick with phpld as its the most modded and has hundreds of available templates.

phpld WAS the one most used but many are changing their minds now as there are so many better alternatives. Don't be fooled by the claims that there are lots of mods, most other scripts already have them built in. Hundreds of templates = hundreds of duplicate directories which is the last thing you want.

That would be like every one driving the exact same car on the highway, after a while they would just get boring. Regardless of script, having a design made would be worth the effort and $.

Couldn't agree more, the problem is that it takes a while to get that through to people.

$32(tolra) for link removal & unencrypted
    vs
$75(phpld) for link removal & unencrypted

    weigh the options.

The layout of a site, no mater what the script is, is dependent on what *you* do for it.
That's why we have web designers and people who do customizations.
