150 Unique Visitors/Day to 5/Day

    Hello all,

I have been doing very well with a site that I created recently. Over the last two months I built the site up from scratch to get about 150 unique visitors per day. One day last week, all of these visitors didn't show up any more.

Can someone help to explain this to me?

What can I do to get those search engine rankings back?

I am a little discouraged right now. I was making $15/day off this site. Now nothing. Please help.

How did you get you good rankings? Maybe if you bought links, you have got penalised.

Hi mate, you can't expect advice without some information about your website and the keywords you are targeting.

maybe you've been penalized by Google. The same happened to me more than a week ago. Traffic from Google dropped to about 10%. Considering that i was getting 3500uv from Google everyday.....that's a loss :D
I only hope it will come back soon!

Google give a New Content Boost to new pages and new sites, this boost helps them rank high in search results. But this boost is only temporary.

May be your site had this boost, which is gone now. To get a stable position in search results, you need to build backlinks, and add unique content in your site on regular bases

I recommend installing Google Analytics (It's free) on all sites so you can track visitors... That way you'll easily be able to find out what's happening!

which tool you was using to get analytics for your website ? Google analytics may help you to find out what happened exactly. Your website was new. how you got this traffic in few days. It is not possible to get search engine ranking so fast.

I think that you've been penalized by Google.Try to resubmit your site in Google Webmasters for reconsideration.

moving from 150 visitors to zero is something normal to a new website.
Use the webmasters tools; If there is a problem in it, or simply banned or penalized, you will get a message from Google regarding these problems. You always have to monitor your website.
    Cheers

15 $ a day with just 150 visitors? Maybe your niche is a great one :)

I have already submitted my site to webmasters tools and google analytics. However, I don't think that I know what to look for to determine what happened to my site. Can you tell me how to use these tools to find out this information?

    Thanks

Check the source of traffic and for most of the people, it is google. I think, chances are that your site is penalized by google.

hehe I didn't know about it too. Maybe I'm so used to working on existing websites that I haven't really noticed that.
