W3C validation help needed

    Hi
    Is w3c validation very important when it comes to serps? I am not able to validate my site(nursery rhymes in my sig ) there are 8 errors now. rest i have removed..can anyone please help me in this..

    It probably doesn't need to be 100% validated to be properly indexed by search engines; although there are some major errors which I have seen can and will hurt you in the SERPs ... like forgetting to open a <body> tag, etc. If they are minor errors, such as you forgot to close a </p> tag, no, that won't stop you from getting crawled and indexed.

    It's a good idea to be 100% validated, however, as it will help with the a lot of (but not all) cross-browser compatibility issues. Plus it's just the right way to code.

    You have made an error: all links of rhymes are better in a list, such as <ul><li></li></ul> and NOT in several paragraphs (<p>).

    For example:

    <ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.sweetrhymes.com/nursery-rhymes/a-big-shoe/">A Big Shoe</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sweetrhymes.com/nursery-rhymes/a-boys-thanksgiving-day/">A Boy’s Thanksgiving Day</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sweetrhymes.com/nursery-rhymes/a-cat-came-fiddling-out-of-a-barn/">A cat came fiddling out of a barn</a></li>
