I would just like to tell everyone that JasonT is back and has a new web hosting company dynamichosting.com. Also, Before Forcium was bought by Mediatier I asked for a refund and he has not given it to me yet. My 30 days were not up when i requested a my $45 back. Tonight I asked for a refund to get my money back and he says that its up to mediatier to offer it back. Then after I he didn't reply to my messages I nudged him once. 2 minutes later he sent a nudge bomb on me. It just shows how Childish he is. If anyone would like I will post the conversation on Digital Point. What do you think I should do about the Refund. Since he is not giving it back?
Well... unfortunately if he refuses to give you your money back, there is no real way to force him to do so. However, if it makes you feel any better, you are NOW doing the next best thing. Nothing hits a business harder than bad publicity, and in THIS business, nothing is more valuable than having a good reputation. People WILL see the bad experience you report here. And if others who have had a similar bad experience add their story to yours it can and WILL affect the way future clients determine to use his services or not.
Most likely they will side with the seller as it is a non tangible item.. I would still file a pay pal dispute, even if you do not get your money back the more disputes that he gets for this they will limit or close his account, so you will be doing others a favor if he has no paypal to collect money. If you payed with credit card I would also contact them and file a charge back.
I would file a dispute with Paypal, cause the more disputes, the more Paypal will pay attention and possibly close his account.
That's a very small possibility. However, I'm sure that it is possible to convince PayPal that this is an account that should be limited or disabled.
Too bad around here if the guy comes around offer $1/yr for 1000TB of space people will jump on it like nothing. This forum does not learn, they continue to buy the cheapest possible no matter the bad reviews or other comments about the hosting offering.
$45/yr for unlimited reseller hosting or master reseller unlimited hosting is cheap. Don't kid yourself Oh and you should not win the dispute intangible goods. So mark this down as a lesson learned and move on. I'd file the dispute anyways but don't expect to win already have the money written off as a loss.
that is true but also when services are not good then paypal can refund the customer/consumer due to poor service provided by the seller. never seen or heard this about an account. it might happen it might not.
That's right. At the moment I'm still trying to get a hold of Jason T. His partner with forciumhosting known as "Sam" or his real name is actually Ismail, is a 15 year old. Both of them have been forced to leave Epic Layer. Not exactly where they've gone or what they are currently doing because I have lost contact with them both since. I do have all contact information and ID of Jason T however. If I need to, I will make a call as he does not live too far from me, it will count as a local call. For those who have been ripped off by forciumhost, please send me a PM and I'll see if I can help you or not. Thanks everyone. - Marc
Ok, well his MSN Name was dynamichosting.com and I figured he did own it. I guess we will just have to see.
