    Vaio.. I just got mine 2 weeks ago when my Acer died and its amazing. 4gb ram, amazing design, really fast.. it's the best laptop I've ever had. :)

    Can you tell us whichone you currently having :confused:

    I am using Compaq one as of now and planning to go for Sony Vaio :) So your next Laptop should be Sony Vaio IMO ;)

    I'm also happy with my Dell 1420 just make sure you get a warranty in case the unpredictable happens and upgrade the ram.

    Depends on what you want to do with it. If it's just web publishing and affiliate marketing stuff, then you don't have to spend too much on a fast laptop.

    Laptops have dropped so much in price and there are tons of them on the market. I have a Compaq Presario V6305NR with a AMD Turion Duel core processor. It only came with 1 gig of memory but was easy to upgrade to 2 gig. It does everything I need and I got it for $500 brand new last fall.

    It really depends on what you want to do with it and how much you have for a budget. Compaq is owned by HP and is the same components but seems to offer lower prices than the HP name. I recommend them for an inexpensive but sturdy computer.

    Toshiba gives its best when it comes to laptops. So look for any best possible configuration in Toshiba and the price range. Then go for it... :)

    Dell Inspiron 1520 with 256mb dedicated nvidia card.

    Runs every game smoothly, and very good for gaming/work.
