You need to give them a bit more information Age of site in particular, When was the site registered? Was it by you? Has the context of the site changed? Doesn't really sound like a sandbox 100 down to 10 K Sounds more like a drop in serps assuming the site is over a year old
A site registered in Feb 2008 I 'M sorry I would not consider a site so young Two solutions 1. Leave until next Feb. Just walk away for a year. DO a few hours a week recip linking 2. If you need income within 8 weeks search for a similar site, a few years old that has never been dropped with adwords, and just run with that. Many are very sentimental about sites and domain names. Who gives a hoot. I could not care if it was called an obscene name as long as it made money short term, whilst I worked on masterpieces slowly and quietly
