What software does not work in Vista? And if it is a 3rd party software, is that company's fault, not Microsoft's. Software companies should adapt their programs for an operating system (whatever that is), not the OS to adapt to 3rd party software. It's logic. How can you adapt an OS to each and every existing software?! Shouldn't that be vice-versa? Think!
Vista sucks, okay? You can take down the UAC and windows firewall with simple programming. You might as well use XP.
I haven't upgraded to Vista because of what I've heard, but the worst OS i've had was Windows 98. Maybe it was just me, but my Windows 98 just did whatever it wanted. Btw, was Yankee the head programmer for Vista or what? I hear it sucks for a lot of people, but it seems like he would swear by it. Love it or hate it I guess?
lol, I do like XP (not over Vista ) but I disagree. I run on XP without an AV for more than one year and I have no problem
Windows Vista Home & Premium are the crappest ever i would recommend something like a Linux based OS such as Ubuntu or Kubuntu they are awesome or just stick to windows XP
It is not just so simple DarmaSeo. Me too had windows xp working very well for 2 years, but just one time that I forgot and opened one bad email and all my files were to the hell. After that I have in my computer windows, linux (one distribution based in debian) and one separated partition to my files, that I backup every week. I have too a knoppix based version in my pendrive, so that I can use it in every place I go. It is not question of preconception against windows users. For us windows it is just a mean to an end, as is linux, mac, freebsd, osx, dos, amiga os, and all others operating systems. Linux is more secure for internet: Yes. Windows is more friendly to home and job users: Yes! This is without question.
