I had heard that ctc above 10-12 % gets you banned from adsense but I find people talking of incresing their ctr. So can some one tell me which one is better higher ctr or lower

Too high and low are a problem. Too high meaning click fraud and low meaning low earnings. Best to stay with TOS.

10-12 % ctr is too high. if maximum ctr comes from only few persons then it is not a good scheme.

We all want higher ctr, around 5% is good. Too high is dangerous

hey guys, i would say that good CTR is 15-20 %!

One of my sites give 25% CTR (it`s not dangerous as i see it) and it functions great, it`all about perfect Adsense placement, colors, size and web site content.
    I like Adsense - for me it`s N.1

I would say 2-8% is pretty much safe. CTR reflects your website statistics.

Don't break the rules and 20% is fine, as long as the CTR is consistent day after day.

If your click is legal, you shall not worry if your do have a high CTR.
Google based on statistical analysis, it means that they will only "suspect" you if you do have high CTR and most of the CTR is coms from same area. And the possibility of this happen is very low based on statistical analysis.
It mean that nothing to worry even you do have 50% CTR and those click are come from different area.

A good ctr would be around 3% to 6%. Higher than 10% is not good...

6% seems really good. Above that would make your niche a goldmine! (valid)

CTR stands for Click Through Rate.. So, the higher the better.
