Fellow DP'ers, I posted this in the freebies section but realized this is probably a better place for it. I have created the website http://www.freedirectorysubmission.com which will instantly submit your website to 20 free web directories. If using the service would be of any interest to you, I would really appreciate your feedback on the site. Let me know if you get any errors or have any suggestions on how I can make it better. There is no cost to use the site. The catch is that the site does require that you place a link in return for the 20 web directory submissions I will do for you. 20 links for 1 seems like a good deal to me. Free Directory Submission Thanks all.
Yeah, it cost no money so in that sense it is free, but as I mentioned in the post the site does require a link in order to submit. If you feel that it isnt worth it to you then no worries.
"Required For Free Submission: In order to submit your website to 20 directories for free we do require that you link back to us using the following code." Misleading title.
can i ask, is it fully automated the submitter? if so add a minimum 1000 directories and you are gonne earn thousands!
Thanks for the Red that was really helpful. Dictonary.com's definition of free: provided without, or not subject to, a charge or payment. That is the "free" I am referring to. I don't charge or ask for payment, I do ask for a link in return thus we both get something out of the deal.
Yeah it is but fully automating directory submissions is very difficult. I had to go through a list of about 1000 just to get these 20 that would work. If a web directory has a captcha you can't fully automate.
ask on dp if anyone has a list of ones that do not require a capatcha. if you get 1000 added to the software, ill buy it for like $100! also i dont get it - why do directorys use capatcha - article directories dont and they deal with the spam fine
Probably because it is the easiest way to deal with it and directory owners have no incentive to deal with spam any other way
This is not Free at all. It requires a link back to your website. Why didn't you just come out and say that from the start rather than mislead people? You sound like a used car salesmen. PASS
Why dont you read the initial post all the way through. It clearly states that a link is required in order to use the service.
In which case it is not free because you are charging them a link. Charges and payments do not necessarily have to take the form of cash. The example on dictionary.com you cite reads The tailor mended my jacket for free not The tailor mended my jacket and I mended his. Anyway, better get back to work.
