Blahahahahahaha... that's hilarious. The current governments of those nations have worked diligently to destroy the quality of life of their own people in order to more effectively keep them subjugated. The North Korean government develops nuclear missiles while it's people are so destitute that they are forced to eat grass. Syria and Iran have for years been funding foreign terrorist groups while systematically executing huge numbers of their own citizens. The current government of Venezuela is attempting to rid itself of democracy and implement a military police state. If this is the progress you want to see for the rest of the world, you are one sick bastard.
of course this is what you see in your very very limited vision, Syria has no outside debt, Syria and Iran are the only two countries in the Middle East that have self-sufficiency of many agricultural and manufactured products, the road is long, and for sure there should be much more enhancements in the life there, but I think they are in the correct direction, on the other hand, countries like Egypt, Jordan who are away somehow away from criticism, or hate campaigns, are having serious problems on human rights issues, and poverty, yet they are described as the example that should be followed, for nothing, except they have signed peace contracts between their Governments and Israel, if you think this is the progress you want to see for the rest of the world, then you are a big a.h. its Iranian and Venezuelan people who revolted, and its the Iraqi people who are resisting, if that does not tell you something then you are just another blind with American eyes.
Iran hangs people in the streets on a constant basis and you're worried about human rights abuses in Egypt? Your credibility has run out.
this is what you say, did you hear about Egyptian police executing people even before they reach police station? did you hear about the torture and rape? of course you did not, you are the one who has problems with his creditability.
the future of Muslim countries, is not determined by me, its determined by Muslims, not somebody else, and really, they do not care much of your opinion and outside opinions in general, what they do not like they will change, what they want, will stay.
Well, those not executed by their own governments will stay. How much "deciding" do you think those two teenagers got to do?
how much deciding those who revolted against the Shah got to do? it was enough to remove the Shah from power despite he used to torture, execute whoever goes against him. how much deciding the Iraqi people have now, its enough to send a clear message to the invaders that you are not wanted here, despite the mass killing of them, in Fellujah, and Baghdad, and other places how much deciding the Palestinian people got? it was enough to oust the corrupted Government, how much deciding Syrians have, even the opposites in the exile said no for USA interfere with their issues, because they know it won't be free.
You support kidnapping people of the street, torturing them, keeping them in prisons without trials or simply "disappearing" them for ever and then you have the nerve to complain about other countries human rights records.
They decided to murder thousands of their fellow citizens in political and religious purges. But hey, they were Islamists too, so that makes it all OK, right? The Iraqi people have repetitively asked the U.S. to stay -- largely in order to protect them from the Iranians who are murdering them on a regular basis and from the foreign Arabs who run Al Qaeda in Iraq who are also murdering them on a regular basis. But hey, they are Islamists too, so that makes it all OK, right? The Arabs decided to attack Israel and attempt to murder or enslave everyone there. But hey, they are Islamists, so that makes it all OK, right? Some Syrians say that, other Syrians are more willing to pay the price for freedom. But hey, only the views of the Islamists count, right?
They decided to revolt against the Shah who used to torture, murder, and who was a great friend for the USA who reached power with their help against the Iranian will, and what was the result, they revolted against him again. The Iraqi Government and those who benefited from the invasion who are not much different than Ahmed Chelebi the thief and also USA best friend, asked them to stay. Israel decided to attack Arabs, and still attacking Arabs since 1948, Arabs are resisting against the occupation which enslaved Palestinian people, after expelling hundreds of thousands of them and killing ten's of thousands in 1948 The price of "freedom" which the Iraqi people are paying now?
LOL. You mean the Iraq prime minister that can not last 2 minutes without U.S army in Iraq and in principal is a prisoner in green zone has asked. I wonder how much they had to transfer to his bank account for him to make a speech?
for a minute I thought that picture was of the American's of abu grhaib. a real paradox you got going "will spencer"
i strongly agree with you. there will certainly be winner and that will be Israel cause it has US + NATO backing and i guess its Bush administration which is asking Israel to ruin Iran's nuclear arsenal and programme cause US cant do it as it is bound with treaty and it cant go and declare war with every nation it suspects.
It won't be any war if the Iranians get nuclear bomb, you are right about that point. We have all seen how the mighty super power bends over for North Korea after they announced they have gone nuclear and people wonder why other countries might want nuclear bomb. May be, just may be they don't want to be bullied any more.
And this is different than us how? For all of this talk about Syria and Iran, I'm constantly surprised that no one talks about the Saudi hijackers who attacked America. It seems to me, the Saudis and our Pakistani friends have done much more to promote and support anti-American terrorists than any other nations. And yet those two are our allies, and we're constantly trying to fight Israel's enemies. I'm enjoying you back on the forum. It's been awhile since we had a museum quality neoconservative specimen to look at and laugh. I believe gworld has absolutely owned you on this point. Israel apparently has 200 nukes of their own, America backing it up, and people like you, who have no problem ordering other people's children to death in a foreign war that does not serve our national defense, while looting the wealth of the nation.
And this has been explained to you how many times? The Saudi government is fighting these terrorists. The Syrian and Iranian governments are funding, training and arming these terrorists. Get off your racist kick. It doesn't matter that the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 were born in Saudi Arabia -- what matters is who they were working for. I am impressed though that you are finally admitting it was Islamist terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 and not Jews / George Bush / Lizard Men. You believe a lot of things which are obviously false. Your opinion is without value because you refuse to think before you believe.
We were attacked by Sunni terrorists, not Shia terrorists. Iran helped us fight the Taliban in Afghanistan, and helped us negotiate for Karzai as the new Afghani leader, when his own people would not accept him. Well, I hate to break it to you, but I think people believe they were working for Allah. But again, it does matter if they were Shia or Sunni, as the idiot John McCain has found out, Iranian Shias don't support Sunni Al Queda. Now you know too! You must have me confused with someone else. Then again, based on your posts, there is a lot of confusion going on. Racist comments that you claim are not racist. Cheerleading people to die in war, and reveling in destruction. It's really a shame you show up on the forum and get hyper aggressive. Especially a forum like this that continually gets closer to being about peace and tolerance, not death and bigotry. And yet you believe a lot of things which are empirically false. I think the neocons have been exposed, most of the world is now aware of the lies, and the waste and the fraud and the corruption. No one is buying your false justifications for war, or the genocide that you perpetuate against anyone who does not share you common ideological background. That's your opinion. I think that your opinions are rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding and lack of knowledge. It's very dangerous for people who are poorly informed or draw radical conclusions on limited information, to be the ones who cheerlead the deaths of thousands of people, proclaiming that it is a good thing to kill, kill kill.
