Kris, I just wanted to drop in this thread and THANK YOU for all your diligent for us PJN affiliates. I really appreciate the fact you're here on DP with the rest of us and I want to personally thank you for taking the time to get me accepted into the PJN/eBay program. Kris, you are proving why PJN is going to be such a tremendous success because you pay attention to us publishers regardless of how big or how small we are. Your approach has all the earmarks of professionalism because nobody knows if one of us publishers will be the next Bill Gates or Sergey Brin. Unlike other programs that are strictly performance based, what you're doing with PJN and *growing* affiliate is such a refreshing approach in ths industry. btw, are you or the PJN team going to be attending any affiliate/trade shows in the near future ? If you know of any events this summer within a 4-6 hour drive from lower slower Delaware (like Philly or B-More) please PM me the info because I definitely owe you a few beers for going out of your way for helping me !!!!
Bryce, Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words of support! It wasn't too long ago that I was a super affiliate wondering how I can make a bigger impact on the affiliate marketing industry. Launching Pepperjam Network has definitely given us a vehicle to make a significant and positive impact on affiliate marketing. To think that I went from being a single affiliate marketer just 6 years ago to having a full-service internet marketing agency and affiliate network with over 100 employees today makes me feel extremely fortunate. To be honest with you regarding Pepperjam Network...I believe we've caught the other networks a bit by surprise. No offense to them because the affiliate industry has grown substantially and wouldn't have without the Commission Junction's and Linkshare's of the world; however, (in my opinion) those same networks have enjoyed years of growth and success without having to innovate all that much. It's my goal to help affiliate marketers make more money regardless of whether that is on Pepperjam Network, Commission Junction, Azoogle, or any of the other affiliate networks. However, we expect to innovate much quicker, while also addressing the obstacles that advertisers and affiliates face on the other networks. Anyway - thanks so much for your vote of support for how we are running Pepperjam Network. We are absolutely dedicated to being an adovocate for Pepperjam Network affiliates. On to the conference question... My wife is pregnant and our first child is due in August. With that said I have to skip all conferences in August, including Affiliate Summit, eTail, Search-Engine Strategies San Jose. However, we will have at least 6 people attending each of those shows. My COO Mike Jones will also be attending and speaking at the RBC Capital annual investment conference in San Fran, as well as Affiliate Summit East in Boston. My next speaking gig is at Ticket Summit in Vegas next month and then I have a few lined up for after the baby is born. Thanks again, Kris
Hey kris, I created the official wordpress and joomla plugins for shoppingads (previously auctionads) for Shoemoney. I am thinking that the pepperjam network since it is thinking of innovation could benefit with a similar tools i.e. widget styles that can be posted on blogs/site etc and not just conventional landing page style affiliate marketing. It is yet for any particular affiliate network to take advantage of a mixture of contexual ads + web 2.0 structure to delivery widgets that benefit Content Management Systems. Just a thought, drop me a line and I can throw some ideas.
I have been an affiliate of Ebay Italy for the past 3 years, and since EPN came my earnings have taken a dip. So i thought i will give pepperjam a try, but it has declined my application. Any idea why??? BTW i am a Non-US publisher.

I have been an ebay affiliate via CJ. I just signed up now to EPN. Can I still sign with Pepperjam and if I do am I no longer an EPN affiliate? Thanks
domaindigger - you can join both EPN and the eBay program on Pepperjam Network (PJN). If you go with EPN you'll get paid via them; if you go with PJN we will pay you. Best of luck! KBJ
Absolutely true. However, with PJN, you did recognize the industry leaders (CJ, Linkshare) and didn't set out to supercede them, you took your experience as an affiiate marketer with them and filled in the missing pieces. I will admit, I am still very fond of CJ+Amazon, I've never been a big ClickBank supporter because it seems to lack integrity. PJN is adding a new dimension to the industry which is why so many people are gravitating towards it now. Congrats on the upcoming addition to the family!!! Hope all goes well with the pregnancy. Are we going to see a YouTube video of you changing diapers for the first time (Thank God I'll never have to do that again) !! I haven't been to any of the affiliate based events - not sure if I even want to do "the circuit" again. I used to do the event/conference circuit when I worked for IBM before the dot com boom but for me, listening to people speak in public makes me want to fall asleep and dream about all the waves I'm missing or playing guitar. Is there a comprehensive list somewhere to look up events ?

Hi pepperjam What are the benefits of joining the ebay network with pepperjam rather than ebay it's self. I understand that i will have access to all of what pepperjam has to offer etc, but wouldn't my earnings be more in EPN than PJN? I'm just speaking from the Ebay aspect. I've just finish my first ebay site and i'm very anxious to start the Ebay program. PS. i'm not using Bans script. SUB
are you going to be supporting V1.3 of BANS? my best site is still v1.3 and i wanna switch to PJN. ePN supported v1.3...dont see why you cant
Nope. You will notice less clicks with pepperjam. Once you convert your bans over to pepperjam, try to test click some of your links. I found that not all clicks are tracked.
