how i increase my traffic through search engine? my website is google search on came in 1st. what can I do?
Just do search engine optimization of your site. Hire any seo expert from dp forums. Hire from any seo companies in india. There are many seo companies in india. May be they will take Rs 10000 - Rs 40000 depend on your keyword to get you on first page of google.
Does this mean that you're on the first page? If it is, congrats. Must be a great niche or you're a SEO expert and you don't even know it! As for your traffic, once you reach the front page, I don't think there is much more to do than to add content.
Little confused... if you are looking to get your website on page one of Google's SERPs, then you need to do serious backlink development and SEO. Both are fairly straight forward, but they do take time. If you are on Google's page one, then just keep adding content and work on the long-tail.
If you site is new that's probably one of the issues. One thing that I feel gets overlooked is that age of a site has a ton to do with its ranking. I'm not saying that it's impossible for a new site to rank well, but I am saying it's easier to rank well for an aged site... little known tip!
any comments what should i do more, i have a quality news website, i upload new content everyday, and i ranked 1 in google, but in alexa 309004, just started a few couple of months back, i am focusing on search engine traffic, so what should i do for the keywords, basically its a news site, any tips for search engine would indeed very grateful. Basically my focus is i want to generate traffic from search engine, not from any forums, or any blog. any tips help appreciated.
Don't go consulting any SEO expert. Just build on content, find similar sites or sites that have something or the other to do with you and exchange links with them. Add internal links, meaning links inside your site or blog to other parts of your site or blog. Keep doing this and you'll see the difference.
You've got yourself listed first on Google....... Now the question is how many hits for the term you're using. In other words... If you've typed your website <yoursite>.com and it's listed first - that's not keyword placement. Take one of your keywords - check position & how many hits (Results 1 - 10 of about 7,480,000,000 for search [keyword]. (0.10 seconds) ) Example: If you're listing #1 with 50,000,000 hits - You're doing great and your traffic will come. Example: If you're listing #1 with 569 hits - You need to break into a bigger keyword to get more traffic.
