This post says it all. In my time with you (6 months) this is the 2nd time the DirectAdmin server was seized by police. The first time it was down for a week. This time its looking like it will be longer. During that time as well, there were many many many times of the server responding so slowly that it was like using a freaking modem. When it was down for any reason, I NEVER received any emails about it. SO, after my site being down YET AGAIN, I decided that I would upgrade to the Cpanel Shared server since it doesnt seem to have a problem like the DA server all the time. So, then I get a response from the sales department that they are too busy to open a cpanel account for me? What is this crap? I mean, TIPPIE doesnt update the WRZHOST forum with as much info as they put here on DP. What is going on with this place? If anyone could please help me find a good (reliable, fast) and inexpensive offshore host it would be much appreciated. For those considering WRZHost... perhaps you should wait to see what the outcome is.
Well, Offshore hosts are hard to come by that are reliable at the least... Speed is another issue, along with the cost. Good luck, but chances are you will be switching hosts a lot.
Yea, I had a bad experiance with wrzhost as well, Direct admin locked my account for five days, I asked for a refund and was ignored. For a good fast and nicely priced offshore host. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=878668 Best offshore experience I've had so far.
Most country's off shore or not will not allow warez hosting, please do your research as it is against 95% of the laws in the world to host warez
In my opinion, hosting "warez" is unethical either way. It's basically stealing what's not your's, and what's worse is that you're sharing it. I think it should be considered illegal everywhere. - Marc
I don't really think anywhere in this post did some ask for your opinion on his content. He is just trying to find a reliable place to host his content.

Downloading warez, in every form possible is 100% legal in the Netherlands. However, uploading is NOT! This, infact can also be subject of discussion because some of the largest providers support the usenet, newsgroup scene. All those warez are hosted without any problems, and the government knows 100% about it. It really depends on how you look at it.
So i just wanted to know........ there are so many of you guys experienced and with so much knowledge. If i have a warez linking site and i want to offer premium download (content i upload to a private server) to my premium users what is the best method ?
The best method would be to get a dedicated server where they don't ask for names and create ftp accounts in a special user group where all they can do is download and never upload. This way they can't upload things to the server. You are also free and clear of the server and have no connection to it. I believe the scene term for this would "rogue server" or "freek server" but I could be wrong. The also used to be, or still is, a host that posted here on DP that offered hosting in the Netherlands and preferred not to know your details. They were a little pricey but they seemed to get the job done. Only problem is I can't remember their name, someone else may though I guess.
yeah .. same with me, I just registered 5 days ago, only 2 days my website were online, and 3 days until now is down .. it sucks..
I think you should try the semi-dedi. The shared hosting aint good. So go for the semi-dedi which has a decent uptime
The reason that the wrzhost topic in dp was closed it's because it's full of scammers. You say offshore hosting yeah right,but you think there is one hosting business that would allow the things why our servers were seized? Last time our server was seized it was because of illegal underage porn. People who do this are sick and I help the police to fins this kind of people,I think that's more than normal. You are complaining about downtimes and about that the server was seized by the police,but in my opinion it's normal that the police needs the logs and an investigation of the whole server. You are seeing this from your side. Don't you think we want to do everything to keep the shared hosting up,you think I have the ability to control the police? About the forum,it's a choice of wrzhost to put livechat and a forum online and I choose whenever I feel I need to reply,our support tickets are answered in a nice timeframe and you can call our support lines during business hours. I won't reply anymore about my hosting on dp as I don't want the attention from dp anymore like I said before,many other hosts can confirm that 80% of the dp orders are fraud.
