Was the site previously hosted in the USA? It can take a LONG time to update Also, there's an option in Google webmaster tools to geographically target the site.
Hi Matt... no, they have always been UK based. (Well, if there was ever time when it wasn't, we are going back 8 or 9 years.) I think it used to be #1 on google.co.uk also.
I'm not seeing it at all on the top 10 in the UK, even doing a .com serach from a UK location doesn't bring it up for me. If you're targeting a UK audience then you need to look at some localisation factors.
Are you sisgned up to Google Webmaster tools? There's a geo-location option on there, that should be your first port of call.
