any new google update in seo

hi guys as we know, google and few search engines no longer look for the meta tags in seo for our sites. since i'm that newbie so do guys no some more new info on seo for these seach engines?

 

Create quality contents for you site, then use keyword emphasizing tags like header, strong, bold, italic, etc.

yep, that Matt Cutts dude is awesome, he is a senior engineer of Google, and he heads the Google's Webspam team

 

MattCutts is really awesome, but there are internet user who believes in his predictions and end up on bad result.
