I'm just curious have you guys ever started out a campaign paying super high in the beginning like say around 5 dollars a click and it has went down to 50 cents a click over time?

What is the highest you've guys started out then how low has your bids went down lets say over a 3-6 month period running your ads 24/7?

You start off with a base quality score ... if you bid high enough you'll be positioned high - your actual CPC is relative to what your QS & Max Bid is .. and what the person below you is bidding and their QS. Bidding super high, with a poor QS could result in a high CPC, even if you waited until the cows came home.

Well yea I know that... No offense that's common sense. All my QS are great.

What I'm asking is from every one experience in there markets how low have your click got. For example I know one guy that was bidding around 0.80 to 1.00 and he started out with a GREAT QS score.

After time his AVG. bid score went down to 0.08 cents, that's right 8 cents. He did not change a thing on his ads or anything, but what he did do was let them run for about 6 months and it kept going down with out doing anything to it.

Like I did the other day ... you have asked an open ended question. It varies with everybody and regardless of what they say - it doesn't help you.

What you say above (with guy you know), is just what I've quoted in an earlier post and you responded as being obvious - to be fair.

His quality score improved (maybe with his CTR), so his ad rank improved. As the guy below him didnt improve, his CPC went down. That's all it is.

QS is not an opinion, its visible.

Just unhide the QS column on the keyword list. You will see exactly what your QS is.

    :) Thanks Robert....

I don't think they quite understand what I'm referring to you might, but what I am talking about is how the AdWords cost goes down after time. I have noticed that huge time even if you don't change your ad copy which granted you have to have a great ad copy, but what I have noticed and been told by many people the more history you build up the better.

So in other words clicks get cheaper after time as you keep spending like crazy cheap.
