One of our dogs just died a few minutes ago :(

Snowy, our pet chihuahua just died a few minutes ago. She was my sister's dog and she's still crying right now. When she told me I immediately ran towards Snowy and when I saw her, I just had to control my tears. I hugged her and whispered a prayer then tried to close her eyes but it already won't close. I tried to listen to her heart but there's no more heart beat. Losing a pet sucks. They're already members of our family and I'm just holding back my tears right now. :(

At times like this I wish there really is a doggy heaven so she could continue playing there. Can't believe she's already gone. :(

I'm sorry to hear of your family's loss. It's never easy losing a member of the family...

Sending out a little prayer for the little chihuahua and your family.

Dogs normally have much shorter life span than human beings, I know it is sad because I had a cat who died of old age too. Just as long as you treat your dogs nicely when they are alive, I think this would be the most important.

Did you give your dogs the immunization jabs? Maybe you can check with your vet. 2 years is still more or less a puppy, poor thing.....

Maybe you should screen your other dogs just in case the disease is contagious.

puppies are more prone to getting viruses and diseases, next time make sure you update their immunization stats. i know how u feel, and it seemed so sudden. you know dogs are the best kind of friends, they will always always look forward to spending time with you, even if you did them wrong a gentle tap and they forget everything.

I couldn't imagine if my 1 year old dog will die too. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you can buy a new one to alleviate the pain somehow, gurl.

I feel your sorrow and pain. I am very sorry about your dog. Let me tell you an awful experience I had with a Beagle puppy named Clemens.

My brother sister and I were playing a board game on TV. Clemens was playing with us and just jumping around constantly. Well, about an hour later we saw Clemens having a ceisure, shaking and couldnt move. He began to have a vou(dont know if its spelled correctly) movement and we rushed him to the nearest animal hospital. It trned out that one of his lungs was twice the size of his other ones, and they said he wouldn't live longer than a year and a half. Even if we kept him, he still would have ceisures on occasions. We couldnt go through this again. We had them to put Clemens to sleep. That was one of the worst experiences I had with losing an animal.
