nice use of mild colors.. i think you have used only 2 ad units and only one link unit.. you can use 3 on both..
and your blog archives looks very odd.. i dont like it..

1. I think you should consider getting your own domain name

2. I think you should consider getting a professional logo

3. There is quite a bit of negative space at the bottom of the page
that does not look balanced, you should consider putting something
in that space.

 

Don't use blog archive or change the positioning. It makes the page longer and it doesn't look professional.
