Are these free domains worth anything? uni.cc

I have some uni.cc free domains. Are they worth anything or did I just waste my time? I got them a long time ago and I am wondering if I should still host them. I am not sure what to do with them at all. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is not worth anything, at the end of the day, they do not belong to you. You are just wasting your time. Nowadays domains are cheap, if you really want to develop something, get your own domain.

I agree here, you need to get your a domain that you own if you want to sell it etc. It takes time and effort.

I have seen uni.cc domains indexed by search engines, but the real problem is that they don't belong to you.

I would simply redirect them to a TLD just in case they generate some traffic.

Thanks guys. Thats' what I had in mind. Any TLDs that you have had good experience with?

By the way, I don't habitually sell websites, I keep a handful and develop them, usually because it's fun :)

    HaHa!

Well I doubt you will be able to er direct many free domains for a start, stick with TLD that is world known, keep it simple, get some good hosting and take it in small steps.

    GoodLuck!

The best would be dot.com followed by dot.net then maybe dot.biz, try to stick to those that are international in orientation instead of country domain names. These will have more appeal anywhere.

    Thanks guys. Very helpful comments.

By the way, if you visit my websites please click on at least one ad because I think I am getting a lot of people checking my pages but not clicks at all and my ratios are going down a bit.
