Yahoo AdReady, anyone using it?

Discussion in 'Yahoo' started by JeffC, Jun 4, 2008.

Got a phone call today from Yahoo, inviting me to use their new AdReady system. It looks very cool, like no ad network I've seen. They're putting together some banner ads and things like that for me to try the new system out.

Is anyone using this and can give me some feedback on how its been going?

Yeah dude this has absolutely nothing to do with yahoo try another board, they are not owned by them nor do they have a partnership with them.

    I beg to differ.

I was called by a Yahoo rep, they set up my account. Was told this was not open to the public and was invite only.

I dont think Yahoo! owns adready.com as I do not belive yahoo would have a google "adwords authorized reseller" at the bottom.

Ok, I think its safe to say that no one is using the YAHOO ad system that is 'powered by' adready.

I never heard of this before. This might be a sign that Yahoo is on the way to buy them.

I wasn't on to something, I KNEW they were partnered with them as I had been working with an account manager from Yahoo, who had designed ads for me, and got them running for me.
Thanks burtfubbles for not joining the ignorant "all knowing" crowd ;)

It's my first time I heard that. If I'm not mistaken, yahoo is using YPN.

i believe YPN is a way for publishers to monetize their website. This is a way for advertisers to run ads on yahoo.com.

at least that what im seeing as i tinker...

I am using yahoo.adready.com since two months. But conversions are horrible. I have spent $300. So far got just $30. They have partner network called rightmedia. I tempted with dead cheap traffic. I got junk traffic for .01/click .Don't choose that network when you start using adready. I just started with yahoo network only in adready. I am going to find out results in few days. I will let you know guys how it works.

Talk about reviving an older thread :)

I think the recent YHOO / MSFT alliance for search, SEM will change things shortly...

See the Bing / YHOO discussions for details on it.

So far I found useless. I spend nearly $400 no conversions at all. I don't recommend at all. I spend this much because sales guy promised me so so much and it ran so fast.
