For what reason do you disagree? they make no factor in the improvement of functional strength and for hypertrophy obviously being an isolation exercise they only use one disernable joint movement so you arent able to lift as much weight.

And we all know the key to building muscle and strength is progressive overload.

Stick them in but if your routine is less than 80% compound your wasting your time.

I agree with this, was my philosophy when I lifted and i got great results.

Do whatever works tho, my brother in law who can get insanely huge after only 2 weeks of lifting likes isolation exercises..

btw I like your signature, MMS is cool.

Miracle Mineral Supplement aka, chlorine dioxide, destroys anything harmful basically. lot of controversy on it at Curezone, but it's still good for emergency use.

Yeah MMS has helped me an awful lot to get me to where i am just now, i tried everything garlic, grapefruit seed extract, oregano oil, digestive enzymes loads more and MMS was the only thing that got rid of my co-infections still suffering from heart problems and some adrenal problems but thats a diff thread lol.

Compounds are the way to go, you can add in your isolation exercises if you want but like i got taught from a very good trainer make your routine 80% compound or your wasting your time.

The way i talk though is more for athletes or fighters as i used to be a thai-boxer

You seem like you know your stuff though nate;)

You go from saying isolation is 'bullocks' to changing it to '80% compound'

I said a mix. Yes I do far more compound, isolation though has many reasons behind it.

For body builders especially 'which is what this thread is about' you might need to work on improving one muscle 'an isolation movement' over that of a compound as you do not want to build the rest of the set of muscles.

Isolations also work wonders for certain muscles that are hard to hit properly via standard compounds, recovering from injuries, and much more.
