If you're an AdSense publisher, and you are not using the widget I wrote to keep your privacy policy in line, then it's time to update your privacy policy again. They added 2 more brand new providers, and added one into a category they weren't in before: http://smackdown.blogsblogsblogs.com/2008/06/10/google-updates-list-of-third-party-ad-providers/ -Michael
Is this really necessary? Google says if I enable image ads in my rotation, then I'm automatically enrolled in 3rd party ads.
What's this have to do with privacy policy? Need you include every 3rd parties name in it, as far as i know, you just name them third parties and that's it.
Correct. You have to manually opt out if you don't want them, and if you don't opt out then you have to update your privacy policy. It has to do with Google's instructions: That's from: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=94150 -Michael
If you don't use image ads, there's no need to update anything Image ads are the crap of the CPC world with adsense.... I don't use them
