To clarify, you want the functionalilty of ebates don't you. I find it hard to belive that somebody is willing to do this for $50.

Maybe they believe that you just want the xHTML and CSS for the site. Especially as blktallos's only mentions HTML and CSS (no mention of server side technologies) , and they think they can get this done within hours?

hey thanks, I was thinking too.Someone pm me and says he will do it for $20.
Should I get the freelancer from elance.com, rentacoder.com or somewhere else.I'm really confuse.I just want to know how much does it usually cost to make a site like ebates. Please can you just have a look at ebates.com and see all the softwate, programs and everything, how much would it cost and how much should I pay.

Well, you probably could find someone to do this kind of job on this forum, however it does seem to be full of script kiddies who will charge you "$20" to do the site. You may think you are getting a great bargain, untill they deliver the site to you. It probably wont work, and most definatly will not have the features that you want.

That is just my opinion, I am sure there are some very good coders around that don't charge an extorsionate amount.

A site like ebates has probably been built by a team of developers, all of which will be paid a good wage. Since it will be their job they will work on the site permanantly.

I understand that you just want to have a site similar to ebates, but a descent site is still gonna cost you big bucks. I no nothing of your finances, however I agree with the above post. you get what you pay for.

If you do go to elance or similar you will need to know exactly what you want, features and the like, or you will not get descent coders intrested.

    Just my opinion...

A website like ebates, with almost all features, will cost around $15,000. Maybe even more.
You can be sure that you'll receive nothing useful for $20/$50.
I know this for a fact as I am launching a similar site of my own soon. ezegetonline dot com (sry live links not available to me yet hehe).
