image ads vs text ads

Pleas guide me about the benefits of image ads and text ads... and which one of the two is better for a website.

Text Ads! are better for content sites which i experienced also gives best earnings as compare to Image Ads

 

In some cases it's image ads with fancy colours ,in other cases it's text ads....

 

Text Ads pay u more than Image Ads. However, Image ads will get more Clicks than text.

I think text ads are the best. Cos text ads don't really look like ads, so text ads get much higher cpc.

Text Cum Image ads are good where CTR and CPC is too less.

I would never suggest "image only" ads.

 

After Google announced there "3rd party ads" i did a test and the results were funny:

Text ads: 3$ eCPM
Image ads: 0.30 eCPM

So you decide what to use

 

I've always had better luck monetizing text ads. But sometimes you need to do both to mix it up.

 

text and image ads CTR depend on the content of site.
For example, I put the text ads on my site game http://babegamer.com, there is noone click on text ads (CTR= 0%). but the image ads get hight CTR.

yes, if your content base on text so that CTR for text ads is higher than image ads.

but the eCPM always have the same result. text ads is winner
