    It's a lot better if the domain is pronounceable or the letters stand for something abbreviated, which makes sense. I am still not convinced that just any 4-letter domain is a good one.

    4 letter domains

    .coms range from $28 - $10,000 depending on the letters, pronouncability, memorability, and appeal of the combination (can always go higher depending on the word formed)

    4 letter .coms became very hot in late January, early February of this year but have since cooled down as the market became flooded.

    .nets range from $7 - $3,000 depending on the same variables of the .com (and as always can go higher)

    uqwz = lower range four letter combination
    topp = high quality combination

    Really? :confused:

    You haven't searched hard enough ;)

    The 1st one I typed in of a LLLL.net is available, ZXVQ.net, which I wouldn't waste my money on. I think you are aiming too high with your letter quality when searching.

    LLLL.com are all gone, so you ain't gonna find any of them available when trying at GoDaddy; anyway you can buy LLLL.com at Markeplaces, like DP's one and you might even manage to pay low to mid XX for a decent one, if you deeply scan sales :)

    Quad-Premium LLLL.net are all gone too; anyway you can - at this time - manage to buy nice Quad-Premium LLLL.net at Marketplaces for low XX;
    Once said what above, there are still a number of LLLL.net available to register (Triple-Premium and down).
    I guess the number of available LLLL.net is currently around 200k, but I might be wrong with it...
    Obviously, since Quad-Premium are currently going for rates I stated above, you won't find great satisfaction in flipping Triple-Premium LLLL.net and worst; anyway, if you are looking for a mid to long time investment, you can grab some Triple-Premium LLLL.net too (I'd invest in Quad-Premium at Marketplaced, by this time, anyway it's just a personal opinion, off course!)

    Finally, just in case you need,

    According to 3Character.com definition

    Premium letters are: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T
    Semi-Premium letters are: J, K, U, V, W
    Anti-Premium letters are: Q, X, Y, Z

    Quad-Premium means that all 4 letters are Premium
    Triple-Premium means that 3 letters out of 4 are Premium
    etc...

    Hope this might help :)

    First of all, this is a discussion on 4 letter domains, not 3 letter domains. Second, domain sales are in this thread.
