I've been including 3 links in my EzineArticles submissions for a long time (ever since I joined over a year ago) but just recently I've been getting some returned that say I can only include 2 "self serving" links. Is this a change in policy or are they just starting to enforce it?
I don't think it does really matter because they still allow you to have your two link in the articles, so just use both two and then use your Resource Box and you will be all good to go. If it's a new policy, I don't think they will change it because of some complaints from us. Whether we like them or not, they are one of the best article directory out there. Sometimes, we just need to let a few things go away and keep living life
It has been proven successful that no more than 2 links in the bio work for CTR better... Ezine have the stats of hundreds of thiusands of articles.. They have tested it and it showed that 2 links work better than 3 in the bio Jay
Thanks for the info Jay. I can dig that. Although I use EZineArticles both for link building/SEO and for direct traffic. So i think I'd still prefer having 3 links. But it's certainly not the end of the world.
That's OK...glad to shed some light.. Chris Knight often posts over at the warrior forum when Ezine subjects get discussed and he verified this himself.... Kindly Jay
I usually tried to keep it to two links anyway because I usually write articles for a specific purpose, 3 links would take away from the main link I am promoting. But yes, this is a new change in policy.
It is their change of policy since the start of Jun. It would be great to have this change, not a good one for those who just want to build links but it would be great in terms of raising the CTR.
