Dear bloggers, hi to all, I would like to know what motivated you to blog? Anyones of the below: 1. Sharing information 2. Revenue from blogs 3. Being appreciated by people 4. Seeing the huge no of visitors 5. A sense of (powerful?) online identity 6. What else? Please mention any other reason you blog for! What motivates you to blog? Thank you -Rohan
The possibility of making many people smile is all that motivates me, of course money would be nice but not necessary.
I get motivated whenever a new idea comes to me. Whenever I think "oh yea, that would be so cool!", I try to find a way to turn that idea / information into "post-form", so I can share it with my readers.
1 and 5. It took a long time for me to get on board with the concept of blogging. I find that it's a helpful tool for letting off steam and expressing my views. I'm rather opinionated on certain topics and can express myself freely through that medium.
Readers: especially if they leave comments and my traffic is quite decent with a good amount of returning traffic, it definitely motivates me to blog.
The most inportant thing for me is sharing information with my readers, of course there are other things that motivate me but none beat the one I mentioned. My blog is mainly a webmasters blog but also a blog that teaches people how to make real money online not just dreams. I've been making money online for 2 years now and I would like to share my experience with my readers , because I've passed times when not one person would give me any advice or help but I didn't give up. The readers will avoid this and make a decent income online. This definetely motivates me.
Money, money, money must be funny in the rich men's world...Not communication. Real purpose is money...
Money, genuine intent to share any knowledge that i have, to improve my skills in writing, design, web languages, to improve and expand my vocabulary. The challenge and satisfaction of seeing a blog go from nothing to getting visitors and growing.
