    are you using cpanel or any other panel :rolleyes:

    in cpanel u may find mysql databases button if you have db option from your hosting provider

    why are you installing it manually just use fantastico so much easier if not buy some blog hosting if thats all your going to use it for

    then u can use these db details in your wordpress blog :cool:

    With your understanding of this process I really think that installing wordpress through the automated fantastico way in cpanel would be your best and easiest bet.
