thinking???? dude! what's your address, I'll drop ship some DEF add more if you have the $!!! you'll be like...crap, why didn't I do this 2.7 years ago! what's the speed? DDR? DDR2? PC2700....6400(mine, 800MHz)
I dunno what speed, but hey, it runs almost perfectly as it is. It has a 2.8GHz processor and I keep tweaking it.
is it a store brand, Dell, HP, etc. or did you build it? if the former, check the model #, visit their website,... you should be ale to track down the type of memory it requires without too much pulling of the teeth if not, trying running this app, http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php I love info like this, even if I don't need it so for example, before I UG my RAM, it was telling me that only 1(some generic brand) of my 3 modules was running at the MAX of 800MHz, the other 2..Kingston's strangely enough were only on 533MHz??
I play Second Life, and on my last iMac, it got so slow I could hardly even fly around!!!! Now I can fly all over as if Second Life uses hardly any RAM and have other stuff open at the same time!!!
I know what you mean, sorta, I play NFS:MW on my LT, 1.6G(Celeron - puke), 1.5GB and it's VERY chunky @ times. that's good you can zoom around now!
