Hi, I'm currently in the process of doing a new project. For the project I need $400. I have a couple of ways to go around getting this project on the net. 1. Wait 8 weeks and have the money to do it myself. 2. Wait 3 weeks and do it with my brother. 3. Do it now with my brother and a friend have $20 left over. I hope after site launch within 3 months it will earn $10-$30/day. Which would you do? Thanks.
if you only need $400 i wouldnt bother with partnership. Wait until you have the money and then start it.
If you are confident you will be making 10-30 a day then wait a while, thats between 300-900 month so you will easily get a return on your investment - Wouldnt it be a shame to have to share all this $$$ haha. On the otherhand if you are slightly doubtful, a partnership will allow you share the burden should it not work out as planned. Personally i would wait for the money yourself, or try and borrow from your brother/friend without having to give up a share in your idea.
Ya, I also say do it yourself. I'm sure there is stuff you can do within that 8 week period to make the project more successful.
Agreed - $400 isnt really that much to save and then you have the flexibility to do as you wish, if however you think the knowledge of the partner will help you out as well as the cash then its worth doing.
1. Wait 8 weeks and have the money to do it myself. This is the best option as far as i know...wait 8 weeks and you will never ever have to reconsider your decision..you will be solely responsible and have full authority.
Most partnership offers you come across are npt really "partner" offers. Case in point, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=871737. I more a less guarantee you'll make money. But you are going to have to work. How many replies? Exactly. I get hit up for partnerships all the time. But more are pointless endeavors or unfair splits or terms. That is not a partnership.
My webhosting company started with a partnership. However, when choosing the person to be your partner make sure you will be able to work well together. It may sound childish but it is important to find someone who can work well with or else conflicts will arise that can hurt the company/project.
If you 99% confident of profitss.. I suggest you make the cash urself and go ahead. I wouldnt like to share profits $$$$ if its just a matter of few weeks.
Just wait a while and do it on your own. You take control and earn everything for yourself and you'd be more fulfilled if you do things alone. Also, all the credits will be yours.
