Low traffic from search engines

    Hi,

    One of website which is around 50 days old has till now got 0.34% traffic from search engine out of total 100%.

    Is this too low and do I need to worry about?

    Secondly does Google Analytics only show traffic coming from Google Search Engine or all?

    What is 680 , please type everything in detail , you receive total 680 visitors or 680 from search engine .

    Google analystic shows all traffic from referals to uniques one from search engines , Try to get backlinks and do some submission so Google grab your link , than only traffic will increase from search engine .

    It is 680 visitors from search engines. Although I could only see users coming from Google and it is not showing other search engines. But when I check my web server logs it does show traffic coming from Yahoo and Microsoft Live too.

    hi to increase your traffic do some submission like directory,blog,article,social book marking, and so on. This will help you to increase the traffic

    hmm than you must be facing some problem because when i log in to my account it displays everything according to country maps as well as from where all visitors cam here . I think you can write help mail to analystic team or try other services to track your traffic .

    The problem is only with traffic coming from search engine. Otherwise Analytics does show each and every stat but in case of "oragnic" traffic it is only showing coming from Google search engine.

    Google analytics shows traffic coming from google.

    Concentrate on building links of your site now rather than worrying about traffic.

    Speaking of links, Google Webmaster shows that my site has 6733 back links but when I do a search on Google using "link:www.somewebsite.com" it says 0 result.

    Could it be due to the fact that just like PageRank, Google doesn't update backlinks on search engine immediately and does it after every 3, 4 months?

    It normally takes a little longer before google to starts sending real traffic. I would wait a little longer and see if things change for the better.
