So why can't I view why I have an infraction? I have gotten 4 in the last day and only one has shown me the thread in which I violated. I understood why I got that one and know not to ask for a reply. I have no way of knowing why the heck I have the other three. They all say "Private" It said I was bumping, what the heck I have posted 5 times answering peoples questions and then I get a bump infraction!!!! How do I get an explanation of this. I have gone back and checked my posts in the last couple of days and have added substance to peoples questions. I had no affiliate links or any referral info. I just answered the question asked. You will recieve more detail to your emails address. This has been covered many times So check your mail.
That's the thing. I have not recieved any emails! I checked my setting as I read them in the rules and under my options I am supposed to recieve infraction emails. That box is checked! I checked my spam folders and I have nothing. How would I go about getting these emails resent or an explanation.
I would recommend PMing a moderator about this. Starting another thread in the Suggestions area to complain/ask about your infraction will only get you another one. Your infractions will say "private" when the post you received one on was deleted, which usually means it was not adding any value to the forum.
Yeah, I think so because they have no reference to show you where you have violated laws when they've deleted your post or thread.
I've never had an email about an infraction It's more then likely on a thread that has been deleted. don't spam and make all your post count, and you should be fine. cheers -Brandon
I'm getting infractions for the stupidest stuff... can somebody please tell me who i can pm to talk about these... I just got an infraction for saying "please pm me if your not busy" referring to a service being offered. I was saying if he was not busy to please pm me because I needed his service as soon as possible... How is that an infractions... please tell me im getting very irritated. I contribute to this forum a lot every day and it's very annoying receiving infractions for things that the "moderators" think are unsuitable... Thanks, Brett

Infraction #3: Pm's sent, thank you Now personally I am a gambler so if you feel any of these infractions are unjust then here's my deal; I will post a poll, if you win I will ask whoever gave you the infraction to reverse it, but if you lose you get banned for a week. Well those are pretty poor odds. He'd have to be sure to win to take it; every infraction is 1/10 of a ban. unless you offer to remove five or more infractions it just doesn't play out well.

It depends. A lot of threads have all the necessary details included in the opening post yet you still get people cutting and pasting "PM me details" almost automatically. A lot of these people cut and paste that very reply over and over again in different threads. If you've got time to post a reply for them to PM you, then you've probably got time to PM them instead - which is the way it should be really. I don't know about anyone else but if I'm in a shop and I'm not sure about a product I go and find the shop assistant. I don't wait for them to come to me.
Solution: don't post PM ME or SENT YOU PM in any thread and you will not get any infractions like the rest of us. Those posts are really unnecessary.
well i guess i just think they should give some a break... i have seen people spam the same message on every thread and I see them the next day still posting away. if you look at my post, i have no spam, i might give a quick message here and there because I have a lot of things going on. To me they are not "USELESS POSTS" but i guess they can do what they want.
How are they not useless? PM the person yourself. If you see any other people doing it you can report their posts.
its not useless because he had a busy service and I was saying when he has time to pm me because I know how it is to get flooded with pm's for something... haha no, i have better things to do then tell on people
