If we will exchange links . How can we improve our search engine ranking ? I think it is not possible without exchanging links. Links from forums and blogs are not much useful as compare to exchanged links.
I don't consider myself an expert but I know what your saying there is backwards to what is actually true.
I do n't agree with Link exchange and buying links A website owner generally buys links to promote his website (popularize his website) and it's a natural process ,Google do n't has any right to stop it
@sturat: So, what Do You mean Rankings is not possible without Link Exchange campaign ?? Which Links are the Important in Rankings one way links or Two Way Links, Can You Explain me if you've got Very good Experience in Link building. Reply and clarify when ever you've minutes. Thanks John
If you have bothered to setup a Google Webmaster Tools account, login. On the first screen look at the far right. There is a field there where google is asking webmaster to report people who buy links as they explain this distorts the natural ranking within their search engine. Real position is you don't have any right to tell them how to rank things. They have every right to rank sites according to who they wish to do it, as long as they don't break a law in doing so.
Sure Agree with You. I asked to Julie Kent (Author of the Article) and she Replied about Link Exchange Thoery in SEO like this :- -------------------------------------------------- To clarify about Link Exchanges… I explicitly said it won’t hurt you, but it certainly won’t HELP you all that much. Google likes natural linking, and swapping links isn’t natural. They can easily detect that. Good SEO is about doing things that will boost your rankings. Two way link exchanges aren’t going to give you all that much help. One way links are the ideal links to acquire. But if you’ve agreed to give someone else a link in exchange for them giving you one, it would be better to give them a link from a site other than the one they just linked to, so long as it is relevant. Make sense? And, as someone said… many of the things I listed are widely use. They may sometimes help you in the short term, but you will get caught eventually and then It will Really Hurt you. It’s not Smart SEO to Practice any of the techniques I listed. -------------------------------- I Hope, Now This answer will clarify to Many Peoples about the Practice and Theory of Link Exchanges in SEO. Thanks John
Two way link exchanges are bad only when you get too many back links through this within a short period of time. This looks Illegal to Google and hence it hurts.
How could Google start? I doubt they would do this because if it got out it would be a huge black eye but this kind of thing has happened on the net. They could setup up ISELLLINKS.COM They COULD watch their Gmail accounts and pick up on some there if they choose to do it. They claim to have their ways. You could tell the wrong person and they can go to webmaster tools and report you. I don't know if they would or not. They don't have to hire someone to read forums. Google is a data mining company, that is why they give away email, at least that is what I believe. I doubt Google actively associates the data with anyone but I find it hard to believe they sit on top of all that email and not find out what is being talked about on the net. Filters could tell them where to look, to pinpoint where they need to look. But like you, I want say your wrong. I've seen a site gain number one ranking by setting up Google news alerts for their keywords and then post the results word for word. I have READ but do not know for a fact that it doesn't mater who post the information first but which site is seen as an authority site or more trusted site. You are looking at things from a fairness stand point. I'm not sure that is a good way to look at ANYTHING on the web. Call me a cynic but I've seen a LOT of unfair things on the net. Perhaps Google looks are several things before black listing you. Several suspicious things. Ii have had a couple of one page websites loose their listings. One I can understand why the other, I have no idea why they would do that to the site. I'm making changes on them and see if they get re-listed. Is a one page website always bad? One of mine was duplicate I think. So not surprised. The other? Makes no sense at all to me. It isn't fair but it ain't listed. Oddly I noticed some pages that were backup pages or old pages that no longer had links to the main page or another page. So I deleted those and the next time it was crawled it was dropped. This has nothing to do with what is fair.
