Is it illegal to take out vbulletins message

    at the bottom. if i had a vbulletin forum and if i took it out would that be illegal.

    It would unless you bought the extra with your liscense that let you take it out (or didn't include it, don't know which).

    They let you take off the branding as long as you pay for the non-branded license its generally like a $120 more.

    Its not illegal but they can sue you for copyright infringement.

    you can remove the version number for free ;)

    you can also fix the title tag and remove the "powered by vbulletin" as well :)
