    There is no secret. Well, nothing held in a safe here anyways! Have confidence, realize what you need to charge to survive and if your writing can command that price (jhmattern has a great article on this, but not sure where it is off the top of my head - maybe someone will post it for you), write everyday, network, and always keep moving forward! :)
