Its really bad how they treat the clones in the film. Just kill them anytime on the order of the client. With a lot of progress being made in the cloning field, do u think its gonna be our future say by 2050?

I guess as long as free media is there, its gonna be difficult.

I think I have seen that film. Is it where they all live in a big underground cloning plant like you mentioned, and people can order them for 'parts' so to speak?

yeah thats the film (well that i remember anyway).

Id think that it would be ok if they werent like walking talking people. like a car without an engine would be a good idea of what i would be ok with.

I am personally still undecided where I stand on human cloning. I agree that the scenario in the film would be totally unnaceptable, but I don't know where I would stand on certain body parts being cloned for research and also for transplants. I am not a religious man, so the thought of people 'playing god' doesn't come in to my desicion.

Maybe that is why I am not so against it.

i heard that it will be damn near impossible to clone the human brain, and as i believe that if we do have a 'soul' that it would be in the brain and not in the heart or somewhere eles in the body then cloning for transplants is fine with me, in fact i am all for it.

People who say about 'playing god' i dont understand their logic. If god made us and made us have the ability to do this then he must have wanted us to! pretty basic logic but i still think its right

I have seen that movie year ago. Future brings good and bad things, although I’m not sure that something like that will be possible, ever.

While cloning on that scale could be possible, I don't think speeding up aging/growing them faster is anything but scifi. Your backup copy would have to be made at the same time you're conceived.

I think scientist would just clone a specific part of the body that is needed. No need to clone a whole human being.

It's not going to be our future no.

People are too anti-hurting anything that lives for that.

Plus it's based on someones perception of an extreme downspiral that we are headed for. It won't happen.

ps cool_27, they use a whole body because the body incubates the organs, keeping them at the same age and in perfect health (because they make everyone be healthy).

Really good film. Maybe it will be the future maybe not. Maybe tomorrow will be the end of the world. Nobody knows. ;)

I think while the more civilized countries like US may not allow this stuff to happen. Some of the smaller oppressive countries may be the place where this could start happening. And customers from all over the world may go there.
