I am looking to start some celebraties fansites ? Is this a profitable niche ? where I can get a script to launch a fansite?
I own one, but to have a good fansite you need to stay in contact with the fans, and know alot about that celeb. I have one with over 25k members, but its been down for a week now because 1and1.com are assholes!!!
I charge people a membership fee. I have a massive amount of celebrity content. I update daily. I charge a monthly fee. A few hundred people pay it. Yes. Adsense is crap. You'd be better off selling a link to other celeb webmasters, or adult programs.
If the celebs are naked you could probably build more clients but I don't know how you will get the pics without sneaking around like a paparazzi, wait that's what you can do, become a paparazzi. Then create a website and post your pics on it.
You do not need celebrities to be naked. I sold off one of my sites (high $XX,XXX) that had a membership base of 230-250 a month consistently rebilling. 99% of the girls were in clothes. It was just marketed to a specific niche. I run a series of adult sites as well. I produce the content, all original. Again, 99% of the girls are not naked. There is a gross misconception you have to have women naked, celebrities or not, to make any money. THAT is why so many people fail. But that's fine. More money for me. It's about finding a groove or niche. Knowing how to market, and drive traffic. I've been doing online for over a decade, and full time for 4-5 years now making in the $XXX,XXX range. With little to NO NUDITY. Funny how that works eh toots?
Can you give me more information on how to market a membership based sites? Are those sites were based on a specific celebrities ? How much membership fee you charged per month? Are those content were watermarked?
Barefootsies, is your content just pictures or do you have other stuff? Aren't there copyright problems with that?

No different than any other site. Make sure you have some good SEO in link and page structure. Build and drive traffic. Cross market with your other sites. People love celebrities. Nope. Any and all I find. Some 7,000 female XX.XX Not usually.
yes it a very good niche but you might be having lots of competition for them since there is hell a lot of sites which has the same niche and which are quite popular already. But you can also lookout for some other popular niches the choice is entirely yours.
Why are you getting watermarked content? Sounds like you may be getting it from a single source. Your pictures that is. If that's the case, then pay for the licensing.
