Large Free Photos - Where to find them

I'm looking for free large images, (600 px wide or more) for my blog design that has a nature theme. An example of a picture I'm looking for is something like in this header

Is there a site that specializes in this size images?

not a good way pay for the stock images and it will be much easier for you to find people to provide you what you need

Check out the major micro-stock sites (dreamstime.com, bigstockphoto.com, etc). They all have extensive free collections, all of which are high-resolution.

 

I love stock.xchng. I use it for everything. Just make sure you check and see the copyright terms.

 

sxc.hu is best...

 

You might just want to pay for stock. It is not that expensive and you will find exactly what you are looking for..

 

I also use sxc.hu a lot. You can usually find some nice pics to work with, but you always get professional looking pics from paid sites. When purchasing photos, I use istockphoto.com.
