I was wondering whats the point of feedburner? is it a good idea to implement it? can it drive traffic? and does it make sense for my photo blog?

I don't really get the idea of the project :S

We use it to manage our newsletter. They offer a e-mail subscribe option. Works great for us, and it is free!

Hey, you should definitely try out FeedBurner. It makes subscribing to your RSS feed very simple for anyone on any service. You don't have to do ANYTHING except put in your RSS feed url in a little box and click Burn Feed.

Here's an simple one for one of my sites:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/wiiark

Basically you can completely customize that page through FeedBurners backend, you can put Google Adsense ads on it, place animated headers, email all your subscribers, it has a pretty nice tracking system. You can also tell it to ping a bunch of services every time you post including ping-o-matic. I could go on for a while here, it really takes the hassle out of managing an RSS feed.

Not to mention Google manages it so... Full API
    http://code.google.com/apis/feedburner :D

    More info here: http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/about

Sry I can't post live links yet.

Pretty simple really, submit your RSS feed for a number of functions and pinging services, allows you to add the RSS feed to pages as a neat Widget with recent posts/pages listed - so you can display your recent activity on your other sites / side panels etc.

My Favorite option is the auto ping service, this notifies up to 12 RSS directories around the web of your new content, which builds back links and notifies services of your new content/pages/posts etc.

There's even more features but these are the two that I use it for.

    Just adding a little more...

What I like about FB, is the option to "subscribe by email" so your readers will get each of your posts when you post them. If your site is product driven, this is a really great feature!

I created feedburner, and used plugin... I'v another question, will my old subscribes that used domain/feed get lost now? cause google webmaster shows 120 subscribers, I don't want them to have problems :)

They should actually be fine, but I'm not sure if they will show up on your feedburner stats.
