.. just pick some insect from the nature and you have it for free and it is very good for health - many vitamins (if you are not allergic on sea origin foods). There are some studies prooving that, also some restaurants serving that kind of food, but still it looks very strange Do you think someday we will have it on daily menu ?
I have heard that soldiers are trained to eat insects if they don't have food available in the warzone
I dont want to save money. For the past 17 years (from the day I was born), I am living with my parents, so I didn't have to worry bout food. Now I am moving to a hostel in another city for 3 years that has mess charges included, so I would rather look at value-for-money (hah! j/k I dont want to upset my stomach)
Maybe in near future will McDonald also offer menu like Service: "Hello Sir, What it will be today? You: "french fries" Service: "Any special bonus to that Sir? You: "Yes, ketchup would be good" Service: "I'm afraid that is not possible, Sir, after it is not healthy we can offer you worms, maybeetle, or ants." ... to be continued... By the way, in fact you never know what is there (just kidding, don't worry be happy ) ---- I meant it like "save money on food" cause it is rising almost daily
Better yet grow a garden. All gardens have insects and ya gotta eat your vegetables ya know. Best of both worlds.
I had seen scorpion served fried in China, looks like the real thing even after frying. I guess they removed the sting before eating Grasshoppers yucks, but if they can eat locusts I guess it would help in their farming industry.
You can start your own garden. If you do not have much space, just start a small one near your windown.Gardening foods are cheap and health.
Chocolate grasshopper sounds delicious. I don't remember where I heard it from though. I can eat any food as long as it tastes good - I'm fine with it.
