    Well it would be very tough for them to defends their title. I think Italy or Germany would get the title.:)

    I am starting to think Spain may have a good tournament after all Torres and Villa is a mouthwatering combination up front.

    Greece has won the most matches in qualification. And they are defending champs.

    Don't count them out.

    Well Portugal beat 2-0 to Turkey with help of unknown source Raul Meireles and Pepe as both players scored first goal for his country.

    Host Swiss lost the match despite of good first half performance.

    Still very early days, but I reckon that Portugal or Spain are still the ones to watch out for.

    Mmmh, let's say something about yesterday's matches.
    The first one, between Switzerland and Czech Republic was very balanced, IMHO.
    I'd say there've been 3 decisive events in this match:
    1. Frei's injury, which let Swiss without its top-scorer and most dangerous forward;
    2. Goal's action, with an minimum error on offside by Switzerland's defence;
    3. Great save by Cech and traverse by Vonlanten during the final minutes.

    For as regards, the 2nd match I admit I was quiet impressed by Portugal.
    I didn't expect they would have played such a kind of match, and their time seems to be very good skilled.

    For as regards today I'm rally curious about this group, with Host Austria, Germany, Croatia and Poland: I guess it might turn out as a tough group...

    I thought the Czech Republic were lucky to come out of the game with all three points.

    Although they did have more possession, they didn't do too much with it. There were this wonderful freekick that Jankulovski sent in, but nobody got their head to.

    Yakin should have scored from Lichsteiner's cross. Streller seemed largely ineffective.

    Portugal played well, but one wonders whether the match would have ended 2-0 had Emre Asik not wasted his free header.
