Are these documents enough to get rid of PayPal limited access??

Hello,

My PayPal account was limited yesterday.

Reason : Security Check

Documents Needed : Photo ID and Utility Bill


Now, I am sending the following documents via fax.

1. Driving License(with office address on it)

2. My Bank Pass Book First Page Which Has The Details of My Account with Full Name and Address(home address on it)

3. Electricity Bill of my Home(with home address on it and no name)



Are they sufficient to get my account bank?

 

The utility bill would be the only one I'd be concerned about. Since it doesn't have your name on it, I'd say you've got a 50/50 whether they will accept it or not. What is the primary address of the paypal account? I think that would be the utility bill they would want to see.

 

The primary address(home) of my PayPal account is my home address and my office address is added as just an address.

 

That is pretty much what they need, hope they fix you account soon. Better give them a call if you're in hurry than to wait for their mail reply...

 

Slightly not topic related, But what causes a account to get limited?

 

There are a number of things that can limit an account. Generally the most common are increases in account processing volume, increases in sales amount, and getting disputes. Paypal also has a bunch of filters that flag accounts based on some criteria. Ip addresses in restricted countries can cause a hold. There's probably a few hundred factors that they monitor and put into an equation in attempt to predict fraud and people / situations / sales that are violating their policies.

 

These Documents will be enough for the security Check. If you think they are taking time then call them directly.

If you have provided office and home address, on your PayPal account, then I see no problem in sending in the documents. The Photo ID will prove your identity and your utility bill can confirm your address, and the bank statement will be like spreading mustard on burger!

 

I have sent the documents. No confirmation e-mail yet! But, they have received it as the fax machine tells!

Nope! It is totally perfect. I have never received a dispute or neither a claim.

 

Send them so much documents that they surely have to unlock your account.

You can add passport also if you got one. But I feel the above sent documents should be enough.

Yeah! But, the problem is Address! The Driving License has Office Address while the Bank Pass Book has Home Address. Both Have My Name. But, Electricity Bill does not have name as the power people do not mention it on the bills. But, it has the home address as its home's bill.

 

Bro, you are worrying a bit too much. Go ahead and submit the documents. You Bank Statement will help to verify your address. Also, when you submit your documents. And to be 100% stress-free, call up PayPal, and tell them that you've submitted the documents, and also the problem with the bills and Office Address.

If you have already entered your bank account details, send the statement, this proves your genuine.

Utility bill is best for Address Verification, if you dont have your name on it, make the named person signed on it with verification for you.

For your identification you can give your Office ID card. So everything will be settled and no need of D/L if you are think about defferent address.

huh! Now what is this! They sent me an email that they have received the documents and I received another email the next day stating that they need more! What more they need? They are asking for a utility bill which has name on it! and they are asking to resend all the documents again!

What the hell???? and W T F ??
