Well, now there is ps3 and Xbox 360 soon there will be xbox720 I just bought these following domain names: xbox720forums.com xbox720forum.com 720forum.com 720forums.com Do you think I should keep these or sell these?
You have to look at the risk/reward value of keeping them...if an XBox 720 actually does come out, you can probably sell those domains for quite a bit...if the next gen XBox isn't a 720, you'll just lose $40 a year for having kept those domain names. Keep em'
I would say the rewards outweigh the cost of the 4 domains. Domain names are cheap nowadays. No harm keeping them and trying your luck.
Well atm they probably aren't going to make you much but probably a few years down the track as you will need to hold onto these for another 2-4 years as it won't be released soon and you never know over that time they could decide to not go ahead, change the name, etc. but still a nice domain for the future if your willing to hold on and see how it goes

You will probably not make anything. I still have xbox360shops.com and xbox360stores.com and didn't receive any decent offer yet.

wow ok .. Just because sites name it doesn't mean its real. A. marketing wise that wouldn't fit. B. 720! lol, come on.. The next generation xbox will not be called "xbox 720 lol".. Use commend sense please. The wii when developing was not even called the wii.. look up its project name. The iphone had a project name. Everything does untill released. Microsoft wouldn't pull a stupid marketing move by saying hey "we have the xbox 720!". Bad investment, try to get your money back.
There will never be an Xbox 720, sorry. 360 isn't just a number it has meaning, which 720 doesn't and it sounds silly.
Stupid idea, I also read in PC gamer I believe that neither microsoft or sony will be building another console because of the massive money loss over the technology.
That's a shame, the difference between ps2 and ps3 is huge, imagine if there was a ps4 with the same difference between itself and ps3 :d lol I'd reckon they'd still make one, I'm talking about in the next 5-10 years. greetz, jobic
I can't imagine a third xbox being called the xbox 720. However, if various sites are reporting the '720', you could market these as general xbox forums now and sell them before an updated project name comes out for the xbox ;]
It's really difficult to say if you will be able to make some money with these domains but from what I see many xbox720 domains are already taken
I dunno xbox 720 is a lot of fan rumor hypes. But...in the meanwhile you may want to install vbulletin on one of them and let it sit for a while to let the domain age and get more trusted by google? If your thinking about the SEO benefits and you can also tell the end client about it being established and all that.
