    What exactly do you mean?

Just searching the registry or buying?

Best way to find good domain names is to have a brain. Sounds rude... but seriously... a good brain and you'll be able to think outside the box and pick up good domain names. Oh yeah... probably an entrepreneurial spirit also.

The best way is to have a deep pocket so you can buy the domains you're looking for from their owners. ;)

Even if people knew the answer, it won't help you much coz, the best .com names are all but gone. Even good .net and .org are quite rare these days.

I find domains by typing ideas for a domain into google, never at a registrar, then il check in the whois, if it looks like it may be available, there i find out either the disappointment of a name being taken or that its never been registered :) or has expired and open for registration again. :)

3-4 Letters Domain have been snatched so the best way to come up with a domain name is to think of what your audience or customers would search for. Combination of keywords also work.

If you mean thinking up names for a domain, determine what your site is on do some research and think of an easy to remember domain name

I found .ws they are out of carlsbad, CA. and they are #37 on INC 500 fastest growing company. They have the .ws and it's wide open for almost any domain name. I took the 7 day trial to learn about them and I am looking for input. For 10 bucks it sounds pretty good to me?
