When you send a payment to someone it says "name@email.com" on the top in bold letters, how do I make it say my company name rather then and email address when a customer is purchasing something. Thanks
First you need to have a Paypal Business account. In order to have a Business account, you will need to have a registered business or incorporated company in your country with a business bank account.
I think you need to upgrade a personal account to a business account. Be warned though, I believe it's free there is fees when accepting money from non-credit methods. Not too sure in fact.
No because if you do you might not be able to withdraw your money since it must go into a bank account with the name of the company you used with Paypal. Also if they asked for documentary proof, you might need to submit the documents with your company header. Do it if you want to risk it.
Does anyone know how to hide the customer support number when the customer pays?? (not a big company, not always at phone)
Go to your nearest government office. Register a small company. Create a Bank account under your name, ask the bank for CC. Upgrade to Business payPal account. That's it
If you cannot register a company in India then just keep it as a premier account, I am sure it is alright for your customer to see your email address as the merchant especially since they need to know your email address to contact you for support and stuff. If you have the domain name as part of your email address, they would know who they are paying to. It is not like Paypal has not given you as an unregistered business to use their service, in fact that is what the Premier account is for. You cannot blame paypal for not allowing you to use a fake company name in your account as it is not a registered business. You could only lobby your government to allow people to register a company in India because without the ability to register a business, it would make it difficult for India to grow as a global economy especially it prevents small business from growing.
Or you can do this: Create a new professional looking e-mail account, under your domain, like: Now, Log into Paypal, go to edit profile > edit/add e-mail addresses. Add your new e-mail account. Verify it. Set it as your primary e-mail address. Now you can accept Payments on both e-mail addresses, but your primary e-mail address will be disclosed to your customers (Having your company domain or name). Cheers
