backlinkwatch.com and linkdignosis.com these are good tools, and you can check even all your BL's at g webmaster tool as it shows all back links pointing to your website....
Basically we need a tool which can tell BL in prioritized order based on importance of link. No one can tell time. but SERPs update very frequently.

1.What if I find my competitors backlinks and go to the same places and place my links there aswell and then have exactly the same backlinks and number of backlinks will I rank the same? 2.If my competitor has 15,000 backlinks for me to make it look natural and to even cover that many link will take probably 3 years to do - or is there a quicker way without getting banned?
Guys get so serious about small things. Obviously, links should not be several thousand per day. Make links naturally. thats it.
I just tried Link Diagnosis and it showed only about 20% of my links and it didn't show any with anchor text and 80% or so have anchors. So I don't know about that one.
