EPN - EPC - what you getting?

Hello all (admins when you going to make an EPN forum in affiliate programs?)

After the last few months mediocre results with epn and all this chatter about how well/or not they are doing with it - I just wondered what every is getting in terms of EPC, motivating xx,xxx clicks didnt get me much of a return last month - MY epc was at £0.79 - What was yours?

 

Good question about EPN - I was wondering the same thing. Definitely time to move it off from the CJ forum, or do they know something we don't..?

Lucky you, my EPC was £0.39 ($0.80) last month, and that was only due to a slight upturn at the last minute, with some bids coming through only now. Here's hoping for improvement...

 

thats a shame - I wonder whats the best EPC/Lowest EPC - some stats from ebay would be nice! in the mean time what about the rest of u guys?

 

People seem to be shy to reveal their EPC, not sure why - it would be quite interesting. Course, it depends greatly on the niche and all that, but might be interesting for the sake of comparison between CJ and EPN...

 

yeah comon guys - its only for the sake of observation - its almost irrelavant of skill etc - just wondering what you were getting EPC? What is it!!!

 

April: EPC $4.50
May: EPC $1.97
June: EPC $0.34

This is absolutely terrible.
This month I have over 10,000 clicks to eBay.

I'll be dropping this very shortly.

 

just over 10000clicks with a epc .34cents....ohh myy! i thought mine was bad. i had 1700 clicks and a .32cent epc in may

 

Don't forget ePN's click tracking is all messed up and counting bots as clicks etc.

 

Not if you nofollow your links. Most bots obey that.

 

Yahoo Slurp doesn't - I will have to block it in robots.txt. I can see in my logs where it has followed nofollowed links.

Going back to EPC, as I understand it EPC won't have much to do with the AMOUNT of traffic you have, all those 10,000 hits and measly EPC mean is yet more proof that something is wrong with EPN...

 

Nice' epc's in april though cianuro - if I had that epc with my current clicks I would be a fair bit richer each month :/

I can see why the bots would screw up the epn and all the other figures, you would think ebay wouldn't count bots.... at least the major ones - if so I wish those bots were given credit cards! LOL

If some clever dude brought out a compatible service to epn, that noted all these potential flaws, somehow linking to affiliate products, I reckon they'd get a lot of people switching - its just a pitty theres no major alternative that runs off rss?

 

Ehhh, not really. I'm quoting ebay/CJ epc which is EPHC.

If I cannot tweak to at least 30 cent a click I drop a program unless there is something about it that makes it scalable.

EPN is a scalable as they come so I reckon I can make it work. Once I do, I have plans to let a lot of people in on it (No ebook or dumb ass subscription site either!)

yeah, nice site, just happened to notice though, you've still got PID in your ebay link at the top of the page - needs changing to campid!!

 

I am at $14.10 EPC (per hundred clicks) on EPN. I was at $14.25 on CJ.. but not one ACRU since I've switched over. I was averaging 50-60+ ACRUs/month on CJ.

Thats some pretty decent ACRU's - you must have a fair few sites or a great niche for it! Shame epn seems to miss them - I have to say I noticed drops in ACRU's too. Thanks for sharing tho thats a sweet EPC - any chance of a demo of one of your sites?

Okay, I've gone and looked at all of this year. I am not sure how significant EPC really is, but for those who are curious, here it is.

On CJ:
Jan: 11.43 EPC
Feb: 9.38 EPC
March: 12.28 EPC
April: 17.79 EPC

On EPN:
May: 9.26 EPC
June: 14.7 EPC

May has one of the lowest EPCs and yet it is my best month financially since the start of the year so I really don't think EPC means all that much.

 

My EPC for this month is €5.13

Its starting to get better...

 

its effectively how much your making per 1000 click throughs is it not?

getting a nice epc same as urs would mean 10 times the revenue, but as i said I reckon it depends on the niche.
