I cant believe this.........

hi!!!! everybody we r creating new social networking site yesterday my site rank is 3,53,446 same thing i saw the orkut.co.in site rank is 3,77,412 but today i saw my site rank is 3,00,615 i felt happy for my site rank but for orkut.co.in it shows 343 i cant believe this how its possible???

 

if you are talking about alexa rank, than forget that, it's really worthless thing to discuss.

 

The most important thing is how you are ranking in search engines (especially in Google). Alexa is known for bugs. Please do not depend on Alexa. Keep it as a side tool.

 

yes i saw that in alexa only.......but alexa is the only site to shows all the site rank.......Is any other site there to view site rank???

 

Alexa does not work at all and we should not even recognize it as valid anymore from what I've learned.

You can play Alexa with as few as three machines running the Alexa toolbar.

If you use a page reloader for Internet Explorer and you have also Alexa Toolbar you can definitely get top 10 in 1 day.

 

pick your poison - quantcast, compete, hitwise, comscore, nielson. Anything by alexa, please!

 

Even you are in Alexa top 10, it can not bring traffic to your site.

 

I think these many of negative replies about Alexa, itself says it's rankings are worthless.
