Hey Guys, There's an abundance of adwords ebook out there that teaches you how to get your Adwords campaign set up but few, if any, actually addresses how you should optimize your campaign. So, like to take this opportunity to gather your opinion on this: The specific steps i should take for each of the following situation that results after running my Adwords campaign for a couple of days... 1) keywords that convert 2) keywords that don't convert (a) keywords with high CTR (b) keywords with low CTR Thanks in advance,
1) keywords that convert Keep em 2) keywords that don't convert Dump em (a) keywords with high CTR Keep em if 1) else dump em if 2) (b) keywords with low CTR Keep em if 1) else dump em if 2) The real question is: how do you know when to dump em? that depends on how much you make on a conversion, and what your profit is. Your conversion rate will tell you everything. Adwords accounts are all individual monsters. You are asking for way too generic information.
For keywords that convert, are u sure all u wanna do it "KEEP 'EM"?? Keywords with low CTR... u wanna "KEEP 'EM" as well?? Don't u wanna optimize or something to get high CTR?? LOL... u r the one providing generic , if not flawed, reply...
1. try to increase click volume while maintaining and/or increasing ROI and find ways to decrease costs. Position optimization, negatives, geo targeting, text ads, landing page changes. 2. Find out why they are not converting. Is it position, landing page, relevance, messaging, and etc... 3. Position optimize and write better text ads and try to increase CTR even more. 4. Position optimize and write better text ads and try to increase CTR even more. These are the basics of what you would and can do to optimize, unfortunately every scenario is unique and requires on the fly problem solving to fix issues and increase performance.
